Frequently asked questions
How is GPA calculated?
Each grade converts to points (A = 4.0, B+ = 3.3, etc.), multiplied by the course's credit hours. GPA is total grade points divided by total credits — so a 4-credit course moves the needle more than a 1-credit one.
What scale does this use?
The most common US scale: A/A+ = 4.0, with each step down (A−, B+, B…) dropping about 0.3. Some schools differ slightly — check your registrar for plus/minus policies.
Is my data saved anywhere?
No. Grades are calculated in your browser and vanish when you leave the page.
