Why don't I see many voice options?
Available voices come from your operating system and browser, not from this site. Chrome, Edge, and Safari each ship a different set — installing more system voices (in your OS settings) will add more choices here.
Can I download the speech as an audio file?
Not with this tool — it plays live through your speakers using your browser's speech engine rather than generating a downloadable file. For narration you need to save, you'd need a text-to-speech service that renders audio server-side.
